- Items are sanded, sprayed with primer and a base color.
- Specifically designed dipping tanks hold clear water heated to a controlled
temperature. The whole tank can be used for large objects (up to 6 feet) or constraining bars can restrict the working area for smaller pieces.
- A film displaying the chosen pattern is carefully cut to size and placed onto the surface
of the water. Then an activating solution is sprayed, turning the films' dry ink into wet ink which floats on the surface of the water
- The technician carefully submerges the item in the water tank, transferring the ink onto
the item's surface. Upon removal, the item is thoroughly washed, to remove any residue and then dried.
- Lastly, a clear coat is applied to the item for a long lasting durable finish.
